The new center will combine the company\u2019s U.S. manufacturing operations, product research and development in a single facility. The InnovationHub is expected to start production of sonnenBatterie products in the second quarter of 2017.<\/p>\n<p>According to sonnen representatives, the new facility will enable the company to capitalize on its expertise in new product innovation that will enable sonnen to ramp up production capacity and make energy storage more affordable. The firm already commenced renovations to the existing facility, creating a custom-designed modern hub. The business\u00a0will bring new tech jobs to the Southeast and establish the company\u2019s presence\u00a0 to the East Coast, complementing the existing office in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe U.S. market represents significant opportunity for sonnen as we look to expand and encourage energy independence globally.
