(At 989 Lenox Ave.) Newly renovated lobby, updated exterior, open lounge, cafe, fitness center.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Why this project is notable:\u00a0<\/strong>JZA+D worked with the client on its goal to make these late 1980s buildings competitive with more modern, Class A properties in the area and meet current workplace trends. The central atrium at 1009 Lenox Ave. was transformed into a lively hub of activity with natural light and open spaces. A new staircase connected the previously inaccessible pedestrian bridge, creating easier access to the lower-level cafe and lounge areas.
