North Charleston, S.C.<\/strong>\u2014Holder Properties recently announced that is has begun construction of River Oaks Center, a 106,000-square-foot Class A office building in Charleston\u2019s largest office park, the Executive Park at Faber Place. The project is being designed by Warner Summers and will be built by Harper Corp. Tenants are expected to begin moving in by the fall of this year.<\/p>\n

Located at 4401 Leeds Ave., off of I-526 in North Charleston, the four-story office building will feature an adjacent surface parking lot totaling approximately 375 spaces. Each floor will measure roughly 25,000 square feet and will have floor-to-ceiling glass. River Oaks will be clad in precast concrete panels, glass and metal, with a wood and stone lobby. The building is designed with energy-efficient systems and environmentally sensitive materials. Holder Properties plans to keep many of the large live oaks that have been on the property for more than a century.<\/p>\n

During the last decade, Holder Properties has developed more than 800,000 square feet of Class A office space, valued in excess of $185 million, in the Charleston area. Projects include 1 Central Island Plaza and Blackbaud<\/a>\u2019s new corporate campus, currently under construction.<\/p>\n
