Orlando<\/strong>\u2014KPMG LLP will build a state-of-the art learning, development and innovation facility in Orlando to further enhance the world-class training capabilities it offers to its partners and professionals.<\/p>\n

KPMG is building a new campus in Orlando<\/p><\/div>\n

The 55-acre campus will be built in the 14-square-mile community of Lake Nona.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur new facility will provide flexible, well-designed space and state-of-the-art technology to offer our partners and professionals a learning experience that is interactive, collaborative and innovative,\u201d Laura Newinski, KPMG LLP\u2019s vice chair of operations, told Commercial Property Executive<\/em>. \u201cAt KPMG, we\u2019re passionate about developing our extraordinary people and creating opportunities for growth and development.\u201d<\/p>\n

As a member of the Lake Nona community, the new campus will be part of a vibrant, up-and-coming area that is attracting other world-class organizations that are focused on innovation, collaboration, education and health and wellness. Lake Nona is also just five miles from Orlando International Airport<\/p>\n

\u201cIn addition to training facilities, we\u2019re planning a four-star campus that will encompass 800 residential rooms, an Innovation Center, multiple dining options and recreational and fitness facilities including hiking and biking paths,\u201d Newinski said. \u201cWe\u2019re planning an environment that will focus on the total individual, both heart and mind.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Newinski, the company\u2019s learning and development strategy is focused on ensuring its people have the skills they need to bring high-quality, cutting-edge solutions to clients who operate in a rapidly changing environment.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we look to our evolving training model, learning and development experts, and our own experience, tells us that a \u2018blended approach\u2019 of classroom-based learning and virtual training is ideal,\u201d he said. \u201cWhile we will continue to deliver some courses through e-learning, we recognize that face-to-face training offers more opportunities for team collaboration, knowledge sharing and hands-on learning. Our world-class facility also will immerse our people in our firm\u2019s deep history\u2014through the on-site KPMG museum\u2014and inclusive, innovative culture.\u201d<\/p>\n
