VA3 will offer customizable private suites available in\u00a02 MW and\u00a04 MW increments, dedicated infrastructure options including patented 2N+2, N+1 and 2N configurations, high-security gated entrance with an anti-climb perimeter fence, Class A customer office space, 24&#215;7 in-house security staff for shipping and receiving and world-class customer amenities including lounges, a break room, a game room, a gym, locker rooms and showers and conference rooms.<\/p>\n<p>The combination of the three creates a data center footprint of more than half a million square feet of space and 44.4 megawatts of power. VA1 is located just outside Washington, D.C., offering 290,000 square feet and currently anticipating the development of an extra 2 million feet. The facility operates 14.4 megawatts, and is largely devoted to wholesale and retail clients. The most recent data center at the campus was VA2, a 140,000-square-foot facility with 14 megawatts of high density power.<\/p>\n<p>RagingWire\u2019s business prospects have\u00a0massively increased\u00a0since NTT\u2019s acquisition of 80 percent\u00a0of\u00a0the company three years ago, a boost which quickly led to the establishment of VA1 and the Virginia campus.
