He will report to CBRE Capital Markets\u2019 Executive Managing Director Jeffrey Majewski, who oversees\u00a0the company\u2019s debt and structured finance platform in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the course of his career, Ahmed has placed in excess of $5 billion in commercial real estate loans. \u201cWith more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, Paul is a highly valuable addition to our Capital Markets team,\u201d said Majewski in a prepared statement. \u201cHis in-depth market knowledge of the South Florida region along with his real estate financing expertise will be instrumental to our platform as we continue to expand throughout the region.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining CBRE, Ahmed was a senior vice president at Walker &amp; Dunlop, being\u00a0responsible for originating commercial loans for third parties. Previously, he was vice president at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital.<\/p>\n<p>Ahmed is a graduate of the University of Florida and received his Master\u2019s degree from Florida Atlantic University.
