InterContinental Real Santo Domingo, rendering<\/p><\/div>\n

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic<\/strong>\u2014InterContinental Hotels Group recently announced the opening of InterContinental Real Santo Domingo, a 21-story, 227-key luxury hotel in the heart of the Dominican Republic\u2019s capital. The newly built property cost approximately $70 million and is owned and managed by Real Hotels & Resorts.<\/p>\n

Situated on Winston Churchill Ave., the upscale hotel is located within easy reach of commercial destinations, including major offices and retail centers. The InterContinental Real Santo Domingo offers two bars, three concept restaurants, a spa, 24-hour fitness center and 9,000 square feet of meeting space.<\/p>\n

“With its location in a key international gateway destination, the InterContinental Real Santo Domingo contributes to the strong growth of the InterContinental brand following the re-opening of the InterContinental New York Barclay<\/a>,\u201d said Jason Moskal, vice president of IHG, in prepared remarks.<\/p>\n

With this new property, Real Hotels & Resorts now owns eight InterContinental hotels\u2014seven across Latin America and one in Miami.<\/p>\n
