Kevin McTavish<\/p><\/div>\n

Wilton, Conn<\/strong>.\u2014Independent real estate investment advisor Westport Capital Partners LLC<\/a> announced that two new executives have joined the comany team. Erin Kerr has joined the firm as vice president of investor relations and Kevin McTavish has been named a director of Westport Capital Partners (UK) LLP.<\/p>\n

Kerr will focus on managing investor relations for the WCP Special Core Plus Fund, as well as expanding investor relations and investment <\/a>opportunities at Westport. She is based in the firm\u2019s Wilton, Conn., office and reports to Hy Adelman, senior vice president of Marketing\/Client Relations. From 2012 to 2016, Kerr focused on raising global capital for both funds and direct investment joint ventures as a senior director at Tishman Speyer in New York. Prior to that, she was a director at Eurohypo AG. Kerr has also worked at The Bank of New York and the Citigroup Private Bank. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Rochester.<\/p>\n

McTavish, who has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, will be based in the firm\u2019s London office. He will be responsible for Westport\u2019s European endeavors and will report to Jordan Socaransky, who is a principal at Westport.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining Westport, McTavish spent twelve years as managing partner at Summit Capital LLC, where he acquired and managed distressed and value-add real estate assets. Before that, he was a principal & CIO of Colony Capital LLC. He also served as acquisitions and portfolio manager at Brazos Asset Management, which later became the Lone Star Opportunity Fund. Mr. McTavish served in the United States Navy for seven years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy and an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania \u2013 Wharton School of Business.<\/p>\n
