Newport Beach, Calif.<\/strong>\u2014The Woodmont Co.<\/a>, a Texas-based brokerage, development and management firm focused on retail real estate, announced the opening of its newest office in Newport Beach, Calif. Joseph Williams, the company\u2019s senior vice president, will be in charge of the new division, which will focus on retail tenant representation with an emphasis on providing value-add services for entertainment, health and fitness, and fast-casual restaurant concepts.<\/p>\n

Woodmont is currently looking for experienced commercial real estate professionals for the Newport Beach office, located at 620 Newport Center Drive. The new team will also be in charge of leasing at the firm\u2019s Bakersfield Gateway project.<\/p>\n

“Our Southern California office is an opportunity to expand our expertise in multi-market tenant representation while also providing a local delivery platform to serve our expanding California portfolio. We remain focused on best-in-class, growth-oriented concepts delivering experience, entertainment as well as health and fitness\u2014key areas in the ever-changing retail industry<\/a>,” Stephen Coslik, chairman of The Woodmont Co., said in a prepared statement.<\/p>\n

Williams is a Southern California native and specializes in strategic planning, site selection and transaction services for retailers and restaurants throughout the country. His portfolio includes several retailers, both early-stage and established chains, for which he helps develop long-term, sustainable growth strategies.<\/p>\n

The new office marks The Woodmont Co.’s continued growth as the firm hired two individuals to its management team<\/a> late last year.<\/p>\n
