Delta Pointe at Silver Spring<\/p><\/div>\n

Mechanicsburg<\/b>, Pa.<\/b>\u2014NGKF<\/a> recently announced the sale of Lot 7 of Delta Pointe at Silver Spring in Mechanicsburg, Pa. The owner, Delta Commerce Park Developers, sold the property to the Shaner Hotel Group<\/a> of State College Pennsylvania for un undisclosed amount. Tim Brogan, Tim Pennington and Steve Bonge of NGKF completed the transaction on behalf of the seller.<\/p>\n

Lot 7 is a 5.11-acre parcel on which the Shaner Group plans to build a Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott<\/a>. Once\u00a0the company’s development strategy is finalized, Shaner Group will begin the construction of the new hotel in early 2017. Future plans for the Lot 7 include a second hotel.<\/p>\n

Delta Pointe at Silver Spring is a mixed-use development site located at the epicenter of regional crossroads including Route 114, Interstate 81 and PA Route 581. The property is also in close proximity to Harrisburg International Airport, PA Turnpike, Amtrak and Trailways.\u00a0Delta Pointe\u00a0consists of 12 parcels that range from 2 to 9+ acres, with seven of them currently\u00a0available for sale.\u00a0Each lot comes with Highway Occupancy Permits for full build-outs, utilities and robust IT connectivity.<\/p>\n

The site’s current occupants are\u00a0The Carlisle Group, SPAtacular Escapes and Gatter & Diehl Inc. Ag Choice Farm Credit’s new 20,000-square-foot corporate headquarters will be completed by the end of November 2016. In addition,\u00a0The Penn State Medical Group\u00a0will extend the availability of Penn State Health to Mechanicsburg and house approximately 12 primary care physicians in early 2017.<\/p>\n

“We are very excited to expand Shaner’s central Pennsylvania’s hotel presence with our second hotel in Mechanicsburg. We are looking forward to servicing the region with our newest quality hotel,” Plato Ghinos, president of The Shaner Group, said in a prepared statement.<\/p>\n
