In his new role, he will oversee the development and continuing operation of Situs&#8217; business in Europe which has $44 billion in assets under management, and he will\u00a0play a critical role in the expansion of the firm\u2019s global presence.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a020-year financial industry veteran previously served as\u00a0head of corporate development &amp; operations at Valad Europe, where he led the executive management team that completed a management buyout of the business in 2011, with the investment backing of The Blackstone Group. Bearman\u00a0was also part of the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs, and prior to that, he worked at Lloyd&#8217;s Banking Group.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe European market is in a state of transition and with transition comes opportunity.
