The Olympic Tower has been home to the association\u2019s headquarters since the mid-1970s, according to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/therealdeal.com\/2016\/10\/24\/nba-extends-lease-at-midtown-hq-through-2035\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">The Real Deal<\/a><\/em>. Crown Acquisitions and partner Oxford Properties purchased a 49.9 percent stake in the tower in 2012, valued at roughly $1 billion, and then acquired the other 50.1 percent in 2015, the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2015\/05\/27\/real-estate-royalty-buys-olympic-tower-for-1b\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">New York Post<\/a><\/em> reported at the time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe NBA is an exceptional organization, and their decision to renew their lease at Olympic Tower for the long term underlines the quality and appeal of the building, and reinforces the reasons we have committed to a significant investment in the lobby and in our customer service platform,\u201d Andrew Trickett, senior vice president at Oxford Properties, said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Oxford Vice President Adam Frazier, together with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbre.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">CBRE<\/a>\u2019s Paul Amrich, Howard Fiddle, Neil King and Patrice Meagher, represented the owner in the lease deal.
