Kathleen Reidenbach<\/p><\/div>\n

San Francisco<\/strong> \u2014Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants<\/a> has named\u00a0Kathleen Reidenbach Chief Commercial Officer, a new position intended to align the company’s commercial functions.<\/p>\n

“Kathleen’s unwavering commitment to Kimpton and remarkable leadership qualities make her the perfect fit for our new Chief Commercial Officer position,” said CEO Mike DeFrino in a prepared release.<\/p>\n

Reidenbach began her tenure at Kimpton\u00a0as a business analyst in 2002. Previously, she was a\u00a0financial analyst at Robertson Stephens, a San Francisco<\/a>-based investment bank serving the technology sector.<\/p>\n

In her most recent position, SVP of marketing, Reidenbach grew Kimpton\u00a0into a formidable boutique hotel firm. Now, the hospitality group operates more than 130 hotels and restaurants domestically, with global functions soon to come.<\/p>\n

Always an innovator,\u00a0Reidenbach has pursued unique strategies to improve Kimpton’s growth in the boutique hotel category. In 2014 she unveiled Kimpton Karma Rewards<\/a>, a bespoke customer loyalty program. She also bolstered\u00a0the company’s social media presence, increased digital visibility and revamped charitable initiatives.<\/p>\n

DeFrino continued, “In addition to being the creative force behind award-winning marketing strategies that have raised our brand recognition and positioning, Kathleen is a passionate champion of our heartfelt Kimpton culture. We’re confident she’ll lead with heart and intelligence as we bring the unique Kimpton guest experience to new destinations.”<\/p>\n
