Austin, Texas\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013Greystone<\/a>\u00a0has added 2 managing directors,\u00a0Joe James and Kent Myers, to its multifamily sales group in Austin, Texas.<\/p>\n

James and Myers\u00a0bring multifamily sales experience totaling 25 years to Greystone’s growing advisory group. Both were previously with\u00a0Marcus & Millichap, where they facilitated the sale of more than 28,500 multifamily units in the Texas market.<\/p>\n

Since 2005 James has advised institutional and private sellers in Texas, with more than 16,500 multifamily units sold at a value in excess of $970 million. “Our team is excited to increase Greystone\u2019s footprint in Texas,” he said\u00a0in a prepared\u00a0statement.<\/p>\n

Myers has also made a strong impact on multifamily sales in Texas. While at\u00a0Marcus & Millichap, he\u00a0sold more than 12,000 multifamily units\u00a0in Austin, Dallas\/Fort Worth, San Antonio and his native Houston.\u00a0Over the course of 11 years he has focused\u00a0on selling troubled assets and coordinating distressed debt workouts.<\/p>\n
