The upcoming campus will include seven buildings up to seven-story high with 21<sup>st<\/sup> century design retouches.<\/p>\n<p>The overall 100-acre campus development project is being build south of FM 121, offering easy access to the Dallas North Trollway. The development project required more than 2,000 daily workers, 18,220 tons of steel and limestone, 12 acres of glass, drought tolerant landscaping and on-site solar panels that will produce 7.75 megawatts of electricity. The seven buildings to be build add up to roughly 2 million square feet and will be the core of all social and business functions such as conferencing facilities, dining and fitness, among others.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur work with some of the best designers, builders, architects \u2013 along with important input from our own team members \u2013 has inspired our thinking around how our new facilities can support and enhance the One Toyota Experience. We also want to ensure our new headquarters supports Toyota\u2019s commitment to the environment through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/sustainability\/\" target=\"_blank\">sustainable<\/a>, environmentally sensitive and state-of-the-art design, materials, features and efficiencies,\u201d Jim Lentz, CEO of Toyota\u2019s North America Region, said in prepared remarks.<\/p>\n<p>The state-of-the-art campus will enhance job growth, adding up to 1,000 new jobs to the 4,000 existing ones. \u201cOur hope is that they will help us in Toyota\u2019s mission to address mobility challenges for everyone, now and in the future.
