Lofts hotel in Hanover, Md.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>Baltimore<\/strong>\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cordish.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Cordish Cos.\u00a0<\/a>will launch Live! Lofts, a flagship boutique hotel born from a newly acquired property located near the company\u2019s Maryland Live! Casino in\u00a0Hanover, Md.<\/p>\n<p>Located at 7491 New Ridge Road, the 11-story hotel was originally a Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites, but will undergo a $3 million renovation to transform it into a Live! Lofts property. The rebranded hotel will feature 250 rooms, including more than\u00a0100 suites; a heated indoor pool and jet spa; dining in The Loft Grill; cocktails in The Lounge; and a variety of 24-hour amenities, including shuttle transportation to\/from Live! Casino and the BWI Airport.<\/p>\n<p>There is also approximately 3,400 square feet of meeting and banquet space available for custom meetings and events; as well as free parking.<\/p>\n<p>This is the second major hotel announcement for the brand in the area. Earlier this month, the Cordish Cos.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/200m-live-hotel-to-supplement-maryland-casino\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">broke ground<\/a> on a new\u00a0$200 million, 350,000-square-foot\u00a0flagship\u00a0Live! Hote<a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/200m-live-hotel-to-supplement-maryland-casino\/\">l<\/a> near Maryland Live! Casino, which is being built by the Philadelphia office of Tutor Perini\u2019s subsidiary,\u00a0Tutor Perini Building Corp.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe establishment of the Live! brand in the hotel industry further solidifies its place as the nation\u2019s leading name in entertainment by giving our guests the complete entertainment and hospitality experience,\u201d Blake Cordish, Cordish Cos. vice president &amp;\u00a0head of its real estate division, said in a prepared release. \u201cThe combination of our luxury Live! Hotel collection and Live! Lofts boutique hotels gives us an even greater opportunity to provide our customers with the first-class accommodations, amenities and best-in-class customer service experience that have become the hallmark of the Live! brand nationwide.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Live! Hotel and Live! Lofts are the first two hotels to carry the Live! moniker and round out Cordish&#8217;s portfolio to include both luxury and boutique hotel accommodations.<\/p>\n<p>Rooms at Live! Lofts will remain available to guests as renovations begin on\u00a0public spaces in late 2016\/early 2017, with final improvements to the hotel expected to be complete by mid-2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Maryland Live!
