New York\u2014<\/strong>Westfield World Trade Center<\/a> has recently become PANDORA<\/a>\u2019s choice of venue for its most recent flagship store in Lower Manhattan. The new 1,109-square-foot indoor retail space<\/a> is located under the Oculus structure of the transportation hub in New York City, and features elements such as a 368-charm display showcasing the brand\u2019s collection. The grand opening\u2014<\/strong>which will be open to the public\u2014<\/strong>will take place Friday, Sept. 30, and Saturday, Oct. 1.<\/p>\n

The store is located at 185 Greenwich St. and is open all throughout the week. “Given the unique location\u2013surrounded by both iconic attractions, offices and popular Manhattan destinations\u2013we see huge potential for this store,” Laurie McDonald, general manager at PANDORA U.S., said in a prepared statement.<\/p>\n

PANDORA\u2019s hand-finished .925 sterling silver and 14K gold collection includes rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces and charms with handset precious gemstones. The one-of-a-kind designs combine traditional craftsmanship with modern technology and are sold in more than 100 countries at approximately 8,900 points of sale and 1,900 concept stores. Founded in 1982, the Copenhagen, Denmark-based company employs more than 17,800 people worldwide, most of whom operate in Gemopolis, Thailand, where PANDORA manufactures its jewelry. The firm is publicly listed on the NASDAQ Copenhagen stock exchange in Denmark, obtaining a total revenue of DKK 16.7 billion ($2.5 billion) in 2015.<\/p>\n

Ideally situated in the meeting point of more than 60,000 neighborhood residents, 300,000 daily commuters and an extra 15 million annual travelers, Westfield World Trade Center encompasses roughly 100 beauty, fashion and technology brands, retail spaces and restaurant concepts, as well as art, culture, showrooms, events and entertainment. The shopping center opened its doors to shoppers<\/a> earlier this month.<\/p>\n
