BNY Mellon building, Philadelphia<\/p><\/div>\n

Philadelphia<\/strong>\u2014Working on behalf of Carpenter Technology Corp<\/a>., Colliers International<\/a> has secured a 22,000-square-foot lease of class A office space in Philadelphia<\/a>\u2019s CBD.<\/p>\n

Carpenter will be relocating its corporate headquarters to the BNY Mellon building at 1735 Market St., this fall. The company\u2019s primary manufacturing plant in Reading, Pa., will remain in Berks County, along with 2,300 jobs. The plant is part of the company\u2019s Specialty Alloys Operations segment.<\/p>\n

Carpenter\u2019s move to Philadelphia will bring approximately 100 positions to the city. The company will benefit from better access to transportation, customer markets, world-class universities, as well as increased visibility with broad talent pools.<\/p>\n

James Scott and Jim Scott, Jr. of Colliers International represented Carpenter in this transaction. The landlord is Equity Commonwealth<\/a>.<\/p>\n
