Richmond, Va.<\/strong>\u2014Marriott<\/a> has announced the opening of Fairfield Inn & Suites Richmond Midlothian<\/a>. The 91-key property is owned by Sina Hospitality and will be managed by Newport Hospitality Group, both Virginia-based companies.<\/p>\n

Situated at 150 North Pinetta Drive, the hotel is located within a 30-minute ride from Richmond International and less than 15 minutes from the city\u2019s downtown area. The property also offers quick access to a great number of shopping and dining options along the Midlothian Turnpike, including the 1 million-square-foot Chesterfield Towne Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The new Richmond hotel<\/a> offers five different room plans, ranging from 268-square-foot rooms with king beds to 468-square-foot suites. On-site amenities include 1,600 square feet of function space, an indoor swimming pool, an exercise room, valet laundry service, free breakfast\u2014buffet, continental and hot\u2014as well as complimentary Wi-Fi throughout.<\/p>\n
