Designed by architect Albert Pissis, the building offers 40,600 square feet of space in an area that\u2019s best known for being the home of Twitter, Uber and Square.<\/p>\n<p>The building\u2019s basement was operated by the San Francisco Police Department between 1991 and 2000, but other than that, the asset had been vacant for the past three decades when Dolmen acquired it in 2008. A seismic overhaul and preservation process were part of the renovation process, with the marble floors, chandeliers, bank spaces, vaults and sconces being key aesthetic features of the makeover.
