The L’Or\u00e9al USA Headquarters at 10 Hudson Yards<\/p><\/div>\n

New York<\/strong>\u2014L’Or\u00e9al USA<\/a> started the relocation of its 1,300 employees at 10 Hudson Yards<\/a>, the 1.8-million-square-foot LEED Platinum tower in Manhattan\u2019s West Side. The move comes after almost 60 years on Fifth Avenue<\/a> and should be completed in a few months. The cosmetics giant will occupy more than 400,000 square feet of office space on ten floors of the new structure.<\/p>\n

The modern construction will be home to L’Or\u00e9al USA’s corporate functions and brand teams including Essie, Garnier, Lanc\u00f4me, La Roche-Posay, L’Or\u00e9al Paris, Matrix, Maybelline, Redken and SkinCeuticals. Also, about 150 employees, including creative teams from across L’Or\u00e9al USA’s brand portfolio and The Body Shop have recently moved into the Terminal Stores building located nearby. The revitalized West Chelsea warehouse complex has been revived after the High Line elevated railway, just a block away, was transformed into a popular park.<\/p>\n

L’Or\u00e9al is a 107-year-old company with the heart of a startup. These two locations represent the new entrepreneurial spirit of Manhattan, and the spaces we’ve created are a modern new home for L’Or\u00e9al USA that will inspire the future of our company,” Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Roz\u00e9, president & CEO of L’Or\u00e9al USA, said in a prepared statement.<\/p>\n

The beauty giant worked with leading global design firm Gensler<\/a>, also known for other major projects in New York such as Cond\u00e9 Nast\u2019s 25-floor headquarters, the New Museum of Contemporary Art and the JetBlue terminal at JFK International Airport. The open floor plan office space offers cutting edge facilities, including an interactive virtual retail room for advanced retail planning, a technical salon and treatment room for product evaluation.<\/p>\n

Employees can also enjoy views of the Hudson River and the downtown skyline from the 4,000-square-foot terrace which features indoor and outdoor seating areas. A flagship company store, an employee nail salon, an on-site employee concierge, and a wellness suite with four mother’s rooms and two meditation rooms are also included in the new headquarters at 10 Hudson Yards. The space offers energy-efficient appliances and includes amenities that align with the company\u2019s sustainability commitments.<\/p>\n

L’Or\u00e9al is Hudson Yards\u2019 second tenant. The major real estate development scheduled for completion in 2024 is expected to transform the neighborhood into a dynamic cultural hub.<\/p>\n
