Miami<\/strong>\u2014MiamiCentral<\/a>, the new 11-acre mixed-use development located in the heart of Downtown Miami and the future home of Brightline<\/a> train service, recently announced three key anchor tenants, including two major companies and a leasing partner for retail and food & beverages.<\/p>\n

Office tenants include Cisneros<\/a>, a global enterprise focused on media and entertainment, digital advertising, real estate and social leadership, and Moss & Associates<\/a>, a construction firm headquartered in Fort Lauderdale that focuses on general contracting, design-build and public-private partnerships throughout the United States. Cisneros has leased the top two floors in the tower, while Moss & Associates will open an office on the building\u2019s seventh floor.<\/p>\n

\u201cTwo MiamiCentral is a game-changer for office space with its built in transportation system, allowing companies to connect their employees with multiple forms of transit, easing their daily commutes,\u201d said John Guitar, senior vice president of business development for MiamiCentral and Brightline. \u201cWith the addition of Cisneros and Moss, we are now well ahead of schedule and have leased approximately 60 percent of the available office space.\u201d<\/p>\n

Miami-based H3 Hospitality<\/a>, headed by Justin Schultz and Seth Gadinsky, has been named as the exclusive leasing agent for more than 180,000 square feet of retail and food & beverage space. MiamiCentral will include over 80,000 square feet of retail and entertainment space on two levels of the station pedestal along NW 1st Avenue, between NW 3rd and NW 8th Streets. Central Fare, a 50,000 square foot artisanal marketplace featuring six restaurants and 20 kiosks, will offer everything from grab-and-go meals to full service dining experiences, as well as grocery stores. Tenants include Azucar Ice Cream Company, Blackbrick Chinese, Rosetta The Italian Bakery, and Toasted Bagelry among many others. Celebrity chefs and brothers Brian and Michael Voltaggio will operate Monger, a new 10,000 square foot restaurant concept.<\/p>\n

“H3\u2019s local market knowledge and creative thinking fall in line perfectly with our goal of finding a mix of diverse tenants that will continue to elevate the experience of our future customers at MiamiCentral,” said David McIntyre, senior vice president of operations for MiamiCentral and Brightline.<\/p>\n

These companies join anchor tenants Ernst & Young LLP<\/a> and Regus<\/a>, which were announced earlier this month<\/a>, as well as Florida East Coast Industries<\/a>, which will have more than 190,000 square feet of Class A office space in the 10-story building. The current additions further cement MiamiCentral as a preeminent downtown office building, the only one of its kind in the city with transportation built-in.<\/p>\n

Two MiamiCentral is designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP<\/a>. Blanca Commercial Real Estate<\/a> is the leasing agent for the commercial space within the complex. Two MiamiCentral is scheduled to open in 2017 and in addition to office, retail, dining and entertainment components, it will feature approximately 800 rental residential units as well.<\/p>\n
