\"Avalon<\/a>

Atlanta<\/strong>\u2013Avalon,<\/a>\u00a0an 86-acre mixed-used project, has opened in the North Atlanta submarket,\u00a0Alpharetta. Phase I<\/a>, which opened in October 2014, features 500,000 square feet of retail, a 12-screen theater, 105,000 square feet of Class A office space, 101 single-family residences and 250 luxury rental homes.\u00a0Following its success, North American Properties<\/a>\u00a0(NAP) announced Avalon\u2019s Phase II, which is scheduled to open in spring 2017.<\/p>\n

Phase II will feature 90,000 square feet of upscale retail and restaurants, 276 luxury rental homes, 550,000 square feet of Class A office space as well as a 325-key hotel. Phase II\u2019s retail is already 80 percent leased and attracting top retailers in the country.<\/p>\n

Nine tenants confirmed occupancy at Avalon\u2019s Phase II development. Hop City, known for its craft beer, will unite with The Spotted Trotter, a local chef-driven restaurant, to create Avalon\u2019s own beer\u00a0garden. Both concepts have locations at Krog Street Market in Midtown Atlanta. Rumi\u2019s Kitchen, a popular Persian restaurant in Metro Atlanta, will also be added to the roster, along with seafood restaurant Brine Fish House.<\/p>\n

The Boardroom Salon for Men, the Texas-based men\u2019s salon will open its first Georgia location at Avalon, accompanied by apparel companies Lucky Brand, Brooks Brothers, Levi\u2019s and Urban Outfitters.<\/p>\n

\u201cNAP continues to attract best-in-class retailers and chef-driven restaurants, further enhancing the Avalon experience and Alpharetta\u2019s culinary and shopping landscape,\u201d said Janet Rodgers, president & CEO of the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau. \u201cThe strong leasing momentum is a testament to Avalon and demonstrates its success as an experiential community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Five new Phase I retailers are also scheduled to open soon at Avalon, including Tesla, Atlanta-based AYA Med Spa, Farm to Ladle (a local chef-driven restaurant), Parisian Nail Salon, and Atlanta-based, European-inspired coffeehouse, Caf\u00e9 Intermezzo.<\/p>\n
