Atlanta\u2014<\/strong>RCG Ventures LLC<\/a>, a real estate investment group focused on acquiring and repositioning value-add anchored shopping centers<\/a> in secondary and tertiary markets, has named a new president & COO. Mark Worley joined the Atlanta<\/a>-based company after running Brixmor Property Group<\/a>\u2019s South Office.<\/p>\n

Worley has 25 years of experience in the business, with a focus on leasing and redevelopment. “The company is the leading firm in commercial real estate services and has a well-established strategy to strengthen its market position. I look forward to working with my fellow colleagues to help the company continue its success and value creation”, said Mark Worley, RCG Ventures\u2019 new President & COO.<\/p>\n

At Brixmor, Worley oversaw approximately 29 million square feet of community and neighborhood shopping centers in the Southeast. Previously, he was senior VP of New Plan Excel Realty Trust Inc.\u2014<\/strong>a predecessor of Brixmor Property Group\u2014<\/strong>for the Southeast Region. For most of his vast career, RGC\u2019s now president has led an extensive and complex team that included leasing, property management, legal, construction and accounting.<\/p>\n

“Mark’s passion for the industry, strategic vision and deep client relationships will strengthen our operation and take us to the next level,” Michael McMillen, RCG’s CEO, said in a prepared statement.<\/p>\n

During the 13 years since its inception, RCG Ventures, an affiliate of Argonne Capital Group<\/a>, has acquired 149 assets which translate into $1 billion of invested capital. Currently, the investment group owns 90 properties in 20 states. The real estate platform plans to add $250 million worth of assets to its portfolio in the near future.<\/p>\n
