Amenities include full-service on-site concierge, 24-hour manned security, restaurant, tenant-only fitness center and a 263-stall underground parking garage with two entrances.\u2028\u2028 There\u2019s also collaborative open area work spaces.<\/p>\n<p>The building is located on the north side of L Street, just four blocks from the White House and within close proximity to a variety of restaurants, shopping, hotels and entertainment destinations. It is nearby both the Farragut North and Farragut West Metro stations, accessible by the Red, Orange, Silver and Blue train lines.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s close to where everyone is living now,\u201d Berkman said. \u201cWhen we did the interviews with the tenants, we found a large percentage of employees are walking or biking to work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Spitzer renovated the property in 2004 and Carr Properties is planning additional enhancements.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are going to do some cool things in the common areas and add some more collaborative spaces,\u201d Berkman said.<\/p>\n<p>The property boasts a tenant roster of Pew Research Center, FleishmanHillard, Ketchum, and Porter Novelli.<\/p>\n<p>Joining Berkman on the sale were the Cushman &amp; Wakefield team of Executive Director Michael Katcher, Vice Chairmen Bill Collins and Paul Collins, Executive Managing Director Drew Flood, Associate John Skolnik and the late Steven Gichner.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Spitzer Enterprises shelled out $229 million for a 13-story office building just four blocks away from the White House.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":451,"featured_media":1004139629,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[21743,21808,21825,21783,11,21742,21747,1615],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1004139607","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-deals","category-featured","category-finance","category-investment","category-midatlantic","category-latest","category-office","category-washington-dc"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v28.0 (Yoast SEO v28.0) - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-premium-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>D.C.
