The Market at Springwoods Village, Houston<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

Houston<\/strong>\u2014Regency Centers Corporation<\/a> announced a new partnership with CDC Houston to develop, own and manage The Market at Springwoods Village. The project is expected to open in the spring of 2017 and will be the first grocery-anchored<\/a> development in the master-planned mixed-use community Springwoods Village<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Market at Springwoods Village sits at the intersection of Holzwarth Road and the Grand Parkway and will encompass a mix of retail, dining, and grocery service. In the near vicinity are the ExxonMobil\u2019s new corporate campus Southwestern Energy\u2019s headquarters and CHI St. Luke\u2019s Medical Campus. Moreover, the 170,000-square foot shopping center is seeking LEED Silver<\/a> certification.<\/p>\n

The Market at Springwoods Village, Houston<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

The Market at Springwoods Village is scheduled to break ground in March of 2016 and open in the spring of 2017. It will be anchored by a Kroger<\/a> measuring 100,000 square feet.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Market at Springwoods Village will add important shopping and dining amenities,\u201d said Keith Simon, executive vice president & director of development for CDC Houston. \u201cIts location serves not only Springwoods Village but the larger Spring community and will enhance the entire area\u2019s quality of life.
