Sal Taddeo, COO of east region, Skanska U.S.<\/p><\/div>\n

Atlanta<\/strong>\u2014Global construction and development giant Skanska<\/a> announced the promotion of Sal Taddeo as chief operating officer for the U.S., east region. In his new position, Sal Taddeo will oversee the company\u2019s civil construction operations in the east, including projects in Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, Washington, D.C., Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Boston, Mass.<\/p>\n

The newly appointed COO has served Skanska for the past two decades. Taddeo\u2019s most recent position with the company was vice president of the southeast region. During his time as vice president, he led Skanska\u2019s expansion in Florida by opening an office in Orlando and contributed to the securing of the company\u2019s first two U.S. public-private partnerships \u2013 Elizabeth River Tunnels<\/a> and I-4 Ultimate Improvement Project<\/a>.<\/p>\n

New York-headquartered Skanska USA has offices in over 30 metropolitan areas. During 2015, the company\u2019s construction and development projects generated over $7 billion in revenue. Stockholm-based parent company Skanska AB is one of the world\u2019s largest powerhouses in its field, having totaled in excess of $18.4 billion in global revenue for 2015.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
