TierPoint’s new data center facility in Oklahoma City<\/p><\/div>\n

Oklahoma City<\/strong>\u2014TierPoint<\/a>, a top cloud computing provider based in St. Louis that offers first-class colocation data center and disaster recovery services, has completed the largest commercial data center project in the Sooner State.<\/p>\n

Located within the company\u2019s 15-acre business campus in Oklahoma City, the new 70,000-square-foot data center is three times larger than TierPoint\u2019s first data center facility on campus (DC1). Completed back in 2008, DC1 will continue to operate with a full portfolio of services, and will be connected to DC2 via multiple fiber paths. TierPoint also owns and operates a data center facility in Tulsa, Okla.<\/p>\n

TierPoint was able to complete this project with the help of general contractor Timberlake Construction<\/a>. Schneider Electric Co.<\/a> led the mechanical, electrical and plumbing work in collaboration with United Mechanical Inc.<\/a> and Osborne Electric Co.<\/a>, the two largest contractors in Oklahoma.<\/p>\n

The two-level, state-of-the-art facility features more than 21,000 square feet of office space, more than 34,000 square feet of raised-floor data center space and more than 14,000 square feet of support space. The facility incorporates a variety of state-of-the-art features, including:<\/p>\n
