Now that the Paradise Valley Town Council&#8217;s approval is in place, Five Star aims to break ground on the project this spring, with completion slated for 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Part of a project that\u2019s set to take up 105 acres, the new Ritz-Carlton resort would offer a 200-key hotel, as well as the longest pool in the country with a length of around 400 feet. The 320,000-square-foot will also offer guests a 20,000-square-foot spa with indoor and outdoor treatment areas, a citrus orchard, garden that will provide the restaurants with fresh produce, as well as a grand lawn. Roughly 40 percent of the property\u2019s rooms are suites.<\/p>\n<p>The hotel will be surrounded by 94 single-level villas that will range in size between 1,700 and 3,000 square feet, while 45 single-family homes of up to 6,000 square feet will also be part of the residential offering near the resort.
