The brokerage firm marketed the portfolio on behalf of the seller\u2014a partnership between Beachwood, Ohio-based <a href=\"https:\/\/ddr.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">DDR Corp.<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiaa-cref.org\/public\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">TIAA-CREF<\/a> of New York City. <a href=\"https:\/\/armadahoffler.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Armada Hoffler Properties Inc.<\/a> of Virginia Beach, Va., purchased the portfolio at an undisclosed price.<\/p>\n<p>Comprised of 11 retail assets located throughout the Carolinas, Virginia, Indiana, Tennessee and Texas, The Cavalier Portfolio totals more than 1\u00a0million square feet of retail space, mostly concentrated in North Carolina.
