Christopher Belford of American Healthcare Investors<\/p><\/div>\n

Irvine, Calif.<\/strong>\u2014American Healthcare Investors<\/a>\u00a0recently expanded its executive team with the addition of Christopher Belford as executive vice president of asset management.<\/p>\n

With 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Belford will oversee all senior housing, skilled nursing and hospital properties within the company\u2019s $8 billion portfolio of assets under management. Christopher Rooney, also working as executive vice president of asset management at American Healthcare Investors, will continue to oversee all medical office buildings within the portfolio.<\/p>\n

\u201cChris Belford is a key addition to our executive team, bringing with him more than 24 years of senior level experience in the healthcare space, including extensive experience in the administration of healthcare facilities that provide independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing for seniors,\u201d Danny Prosky, co-founder of American Healthcare Investors, said in a statement.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining American Healthcare Investors, Belford served as president of Brookdale Senior Living<\/a>\u2019s western division, and was directly responsible for managing 269 senior living and retirement communities. Belford also served as senior vice president of operations at Emeritus Assisted Living from 2001 until the company\u2019s merger with Brookdale in July 2014.<\/p>\n

Christopher Belford\u2019s resume also includes executive positions with BPM Assisted Living\/Regent Assisted Living and ERA Care Inc. He holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in business administration from Washington State University, and has completed post-graduate studies at Seattle University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
