2701 Le Jeune Road<\/p><\/div>\n

Founded in Miami in 1967, Quirch Foods<\/a> is one of the nation\u2019s largest regional and international food distribution enterprises, serving both large and independent retailers across the United States, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. The firm operates five distribution facilities with a combined 700,000 square feet of refrigerated warehouse space. Its customer base includes independent grocers, retail chains, food processors, wholesalers, food service companies, restaurants and hotels.<\/p>\n

The 155-member executive staff moved to 2701 South Le Jeune Rd. in downtown Coral Gables. The company leased approximately 30,000 square feet of Class A office space at the 15-story office. The Mediterranean-style building is in close proximity to major transportation hubs and has easy access to dining, shopping and entertainment. Tere Blanca of the Miami-based Blanca Commercial Real Estate<\/a> represented Quirch Foods in the negotiations. Financial terms of the transaction remained undisclosed.<\/p>\n

Some of the world\u2019s top multinational brands in the food and beverage industry, such as Bacardi USA, Diageo, Mondel\u0113z International, Heineken and Del Monte, have also recently set up international headquarters in Coral Gables.<\/p>\n
