A 14-story office project in Clayton, Mo. that has been stuck in the planning stages for many months is now one step closer to becoming reality.<\/p>\n

According to the St. Louis Business Journal<\/a>, the $68.5 million office tower proposed by Jared Novelly will go before the city of Clayton\u2019s planning commission on December 7. Novelly is the head of Crest Management Co.<\/a> and also the son of Tony Novelly, Horatio Alger Award honoree and CEO of Apex Oil<\/a>\u2014one of America\u2019s Largest Private Companies, according to Forbes Magazine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The new 233,226-square-foot development would replace an unoccupied retail building at 8125 Forsyth Blvd., between Maryland Avenue and Brentwood Boulevard. The property is conveniently located near the Merrill Lynch Centre at 8325 Forsyth, owned by Tony Novelly.<\/p>\n

Back in 2013, NextSTL<\/a> reported that ACI Boland<\/a> would serve as architect for the project, which is set to include ground-floor retail space.<\/p>\n
