Lamar Central<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

Austin-based Chameleon Hospitality<\/a> inked a 10-year lease for approximately 5,300 square feet of retail space at Lamar Central<\/a>, the mixed-use development recently completed by Highland Resources<\/a> at 38th<\/sup> Street and North Lamar Boulevard.<\/p>\n

“After the success of Swift’s Attic, our first restaurant, and the early positive reception of our second concept, Wu Chow, we are thrilled to open our third unique concept in Austin,\u201d said Stuart Thomajan of Chameleon Hospitality. \u201cHighland Resources has been great in helping turn our vision into a reality; Lamar Central is an ideal location for us.”<\/p>\n

Jeff Townsend and Andrew Scroggie of EDGE Realty Partners<\/a> negotiated the lease on behalf of Chameleon Hospitality, while Eric DeJernett and Bryan McMurrey of CBRE Group Inc.<\/a> represented the owner, Highland Resources. Financial details about the transaction were not disclosed.<\/p>\n

The hospitality group signed for the project\u2019s largest dining space on the ground floor of the northeast corner of the property, fronting 39th<\/sup> St. and North Lamar Boulevard. Patio seating will be available under the pecan trees, preserved during construction. The restaurant will also offer valet parking on 39th<\/sup> Street.<\/p>\n

Lamar Central, which features a four-story parking garage and a 13,000-square foot landscaped courtyard, will also include Kendra Scott Design, Snooze and A.M. Eatery, and Regus as tenants.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
