Pie Five Pizza<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

Dallas\u2014Dallas-based Pie Five Pizza<\/a>, a subsidiary of Rave Restaurant Group Inc.<\/a>, signed an agreement, with franchise partner Umar Ibrahim, to develop eight to ten Pie Five locations in the San Antonio area. The first location will open in mid-2016, according to a company statement.<\/p>\n

“Pie Five is on fire in Dallas-Fort Worth and with similar demographics, I know it will do very well in the San Antonio market too,” said Umar Ibrahim. “I really did my homework on the fast casual pizza segment and found that Pie Five offered a value and service proposition that was hard to beat.”<\/p>\n

In the last month, Pie Five announced multi-unit development deals for new locations in North Carolina and South Florida. Since 2011, when the company opened its first location in Fort Worth, Pie Five Pizza has grown from one location to 69 throughout the country. New locations in Austin and Lubbock are scheduled to open in the following months.<\/p>\n

“Umar is a great addition to our franchise team bringing extensive restaurant operations experience to our brand \u2013 we’re thrilled to have him on board to develop the South Central Texas area,” Randy Gier, CEO of Rave Restaurant Group Inc., said in a prepared statement. “We know Texans love Pie Five and the communities in and around San Antonio will appreciate having a fast, fresh, customized pizza option to enjoy with friends and family.”<\/p>\n
