John Balestra – Senior Vice President at Trammell Crow Company<\/p><\/div>\n

Trammell Crow Co.<\/a>, an independently operated subsidiary of CBRE Group<\/a>, appointed John Balestra as senior vice president for the company\u2019s SoCal \u2013 Los Angeles Business Unit.<\/p>\n

In his new role, Balestra will be responsible for sourcing and overseeing new industrial development and investment opportunities throughout the Greater Los Angeles market. According to an official statement announcing the hire, the list of responsibilities includes overseeing land and deal sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence, entitlements, as well as debt and equity capital relationships.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining Trammell Crow Co., Balestra served as president of Roll Real Estate Development, the largest agricultural owner in California that also provides real estate logistics solutions. Balestra\u2019s career in the commercial real estate industry spans 30 years, during which he has managed the development, leasing, acquisition and property management for over 15 million square feet of commercial real estate valued at $1.5 billion.<\/p>\n

Back in 2014, CPE reported that Roll Real Estate Development broke ground\u2014under Balestra\u2019s tenure\u2014on the 1,625-acre Paramount Logistics Park<\/a> on behalf of American Tire Distributors, with which the company signed a one-million-square-foot lease.<\/p>\n

Balestra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Southern California\u2019s Marshall School of Business.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
