{"id":1004129112,"date":"2015-10-12T06:42:04","date_gmt":"2015-10-12T14:42:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/?p=1004129112"},"modified":"2020-05-13T23:40:09","modified_gmt":"2020-05-14T07:40:09","slug":"luxury-tower-tops-out-on-manhattans-57th-street","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/luxury-tower-tops-out-on-manhattans-57th-street\/","title":{"rendered":"Luxury Tower Tops Out on Manhattan\u2019s 57th Street"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>By Ioana Neamt, Associate Editor<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The 65-story residential tower at 252 E. 57<sup>th<\/sup> St. in midtown Manhattan topped out last week, five years after the start of construction.<\/p>\n<p>The result of a successful public-private partnership that included <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wwdb.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">World Wide Group<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosenyc.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Rose Associates<\/a>, the project is due for completion in 2017, and includes an approximately 700-foot residential tower, 78,000 square feet of retail space, two new schools and a Whole Foods market. Amenities include a porte coch\u00e8re, double-height residents\u2019 lounge, a 75-foot indoor swimming pool, library, yoga and Pilates rooms, bicycle storage, children\u2019s playroom, and attended lobby, among others.
