Internet faster than the speed of light is bound to hit Atlanta, Austin and Charlotte. Parkway Properties<\/a>, Inc. signed a deal with Google Fiber Inc.<\/a>to bring internet service to real estate investment trust\u2019s clients.<\/p>\n

Parkway Properties, Inc.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Google<\/a>\u2019s subsidiary, Google Fiber, will provide its Small Business Gigabit Internet service to Parkway’s office buildings in three major cities:\u00a0Atlanta,\u00a0Austin\u00a0and Charlotte.<\/p>\n

“The implementation of Google Fiber reinforces Parkway’s commitment to offering our customers a state-of-the-art technology platform,” stated Joel Anderson, vice president and director of information technology at Parkway Properties, Inc. “At almost 100 times faster than the average Internet speed in\u00a0the United States, Google Fiber should allow our customers to increase productivity and gain a distinct strategic advantage. We believe that a long-term partnership with Google Fiber will differentiate the Parkway portfolio and further our efforts to maximize value of our best-in-class assets.”<\/p>\n

If Google Fiber expands its service area, the deal could expand to the entire Parkway portfolio. The collaboration is helping businesses focus on taking advantage of the latest technologies, reducing wait time on the web and providing faster services for customers.<\/p>\n

The Small Business Gigabit Internet service offers internet speed up to one gigabit (1,000 Mbps) upload and download speed, connectivity for all employees with any device at high performance Wi-Fi, gigabit routing, firewall protection, online network management via MyFiber and dedicated technical support available via phone, e-mail or chat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
