The firm acquired the 501 Congress Ave. building, expanding its portfolio in the United States.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 11,400-square foot property, along with a new adjoining parking garage, sold for $79.1 million. At the time of the sale, the office building was 76.3 percent leased to multiple tenants, including Dropbox, Charles Schwab, Vine Vault, Allen Edmonds, and EMC<sup>2<\/sup>Corp.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">501 Congress was built in 1963, but in time was fully refurbished into a Class A office building, featuring five upper floors and an atrium core. <a href=\"https:\/\/streamrealty.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Stream Realty Partners<\/a> transformed it into a contemporary building with retail spaces on the first floor, as well as 297 parking spaces available within the complex.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">AFIAA has offices in Zurich, New York and Sydney, and 31 commercial properties in North America, Australia, and Europe in cities including Chicago, Sydney, London, Paris, Vienna, and Berlin.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Image courtesy of Michael Hsu Office of Architecture<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AFIAA Foundation paid a hefty price for 501 Congress Building in downtown Austin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":237,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[1578,21742],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1004127073","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-austin","category-latest"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v28.0 (Yoast SEO v28.0) -
