Cumberland Surgical Hospitals, LLC used the former site of the Victory Medical Center Landmark property in Northwest San Antonio to develop its Cumberland Surgical Hospital of San Antonio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Through our affiliate, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.postacutemedical.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Post Acute Medical<\/a>, we have been privileged to serve patients in\u00a0San Antonio\u00a0and\u00a0South Texas\u00a0for well over a decade in rehabilitation and long-term acute hospitals.\u00a0 With leading specialists, advanced technology, and a peerless healing environment, Cumberland Surgical Hospital greatly expands our ability to provide exceptional care for this community,&#8221; Karick Stober, vice president of CSH, said in a prepared statement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT Inc., the owner of the property, signed a 20-year lease\u00a0with CSH.\u00a0Previously, the facility was leased to an affiliate of Victory Healthcare, which filled bankruptcy in June 2015.\u00a0&#8221;We are excited to enter into a lease with Cumberland Surgical Hospital, demonstrating our ability to re-position our assets when needed. We look forward to the facility serving the San Antonio community for years to come,&#8221; said Michael Seton, president of CVMC REIT.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cumberland Surgical Hospital of San Antonio\u00a0is located at 5330 N. Loop 1604 West. It consists of 82,000 square feet of space that will feature six oversized surgical suites, three special procedure rooms, and 25 private inpatient suites.
