OneCity<\/a>, a technology center located on Charlotte Avenue, has become the new home of a Nashville-based high-profile health tech start-up that turns handwritten doctors\u2019 notes into digital information.<\/p>\n

After moving its headquarters from Boston to Music City back in 2010, Shareable Ink<\/a> established its main offices at Cummins Station in SoBro. Now, the company announced it will move its 25 employees into a new location just inside Interstate 440, in a urban community that serves as a center of technology-enabled commercial, residential, research and retail activity.<\/p>\n

Shareable Ink will occupy 120,000 square feet of office space at OneCity, which is expected to be completed by October. Meanwhile, the tech company closed on a short-term lease for\u00a01,100 square feet in one of the shipping containers available onsite.<\/p>\n

OneCity\u2019s site design, infrastructure, transportation and building design have been planned and are being constructed for LEED Neighborhood Development certification. The list of tenants includes companies such as MediCopy Services Inc., Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance, Avo restaurant and Cucumberland Center.<\/p>\n

The first office building opened at OneCity contains 110,000 square feet of office space and is currently 70 percent occupied. According to the Nashville Business Journal<\/em><\/a>, future plans involve a second, larger office building at the complex that could be up to 15 stories, with 250,000 square feet of office space, plus ground-floor retail.<\/p>\n
