Global design firm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dlrgroup.com\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">DLR Group<\/a>\u00a0signed on to take over more than a floor of the building owned by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ratkovich.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">The Ratkovich Company<\/a>. The leasing process was handled by Darren Eades, Mike McKeever and Jordan Gaffney of JLL on behalf of the new tenant, while the landlord was represented by CBRE.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_357803\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\" style=\"width: 310px\"><a href=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2015\/08\/The-Bloc.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-357803\" title=\"The Bloc\" src=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2015\/08\/The-Bloc.jpg\" alt=\"The Bloc\" width=\"300\" height=\"162\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Bloc<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Located at 700 S. Flower St. in Los Angeles\u2019 downtown area, The Bloc offers 737,710 square feet of office space over 32 floors. The typical floor size is of around 24,000 square feet of space and DLR will be taking over the 22<sup>nd<\/sup> floor in its entirety, as well as a large chunk of the 23<sup>rd<\/sup> floor.<\/p>\n<p>An integrated design firm that provides architecture, engineering, planning and interior design for its clients, DLR will take over a total of 35,362 square feet of space.<\/p>\n<p>The company is bringing its two Los Angeles area offices under one roof at the Bloc, a space that the company believes \u201cdemonstrates their collaborative and creative work environment\u201d, Darren Eades said.
