Choice Hotels International<\/a> announced it has signed an agreement with Nevada Coal and Grain LLC \u2014 led by local developer Matthew Gillio and Don Fuller \u2014 to develop a new Cambria Hotel & Suites in Orlando.<\/p>\nThe 140-room Cambria property will be located at the intersection of International Drive and Central Florida Parkway, within walking distance of SeaWorld and just one mile from the Orange County Convention Center. The property will feature over 2,000 square feet of meeting and reception space for events, complimented by onsite catering. Plans also call for amenities like a modern fitness facility, pool, a contemporary bistro and a coffee bar.<\/p>\n
The Cambria brand concentrates on new-construction business travel and leisure hotels that feature a larger lobby, larger-than-standard guest rooms. The new property is scheduled for opening in 2017.<\/p>\n
