The company is building a sprawling mixed-use project in Santa Clarita and broke ground on Phase One of the initiative.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_354940\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\" style=\"width: 310px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2015\/07\/Vista-Canyon.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-354940\" title=\"JSB Development Vista Canyon\" src=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2015\/07\/Vista-Canyon.jpg\" alt=\"Vista Canyon\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Vista Canyon Rendering<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to the developer, the Vista Canyon development project will focus on a small section of the 185-acre plot of land that will accommodate the new community. The current phase will feature a commercial component comprising a 56,000-square-foot building offering office and retail space, a neighborhood retail store totaling 18,000 square feet, and a parking facility that can hold up to 614 vehicles. The residential element of the project includes 480 units located in a number of complexes. Residents will have access to health clubs, lounges, pools, as well as outdoor common areas.<\/p>\n<p>The overall master plan of Vista Canyon was designed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.johnsonfain.com\" rel=\"nofollow\">Johnson Fain<\/a>, the architecture firm also being responsible for the plans of a future six-story office building. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gensler.com\" rel=\"nofollow\">Gensler<\/a> will also provide the designs of a number of structures in the mixed-use community including the retail\/office building that is part of Phase One, as well as another three-story structure to take shape on the project\u2019s main retail street.<\/p>\n<p>At full build-out, Vista Canyon will offer around 1,100 residential units including upscale apartments, townhomes, as well as single-family homes. The commercial component will feature more than one million square feet of retail, office, dining and entertainment space, as well as hospitality venues. The master-planned community\u2019s Town Square and Corporate Office Campus will provide around 4,000 jobs when fully occupied. Residents will have access to a riverfront area for entertainment activities, the Town Green, as well as a Community Garden offering more space destined for socializing. The City Park will total 10 acres and will include a River Education Center where residents will have the opportunity to learn more about the Santa Clara River.<\/p>\n<p>The community\u2019s keystone is the Transit Center. Designed to link the community to the rest of the county via a Metrolink Depot and City bus transfer station, the center will allow commuters to live in an undervalued end of Santa Clarita while working throughout L.A.
