After 22 months, this new west side development is getting closer to receiving the &#8220;okay&#8221; from Bernalillo County commissioners.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The commissioners have voted to pass a series of zoning changes and to approve the \u201cLevel A\u201d master plan associated with the project. However, the grand finale has not been reached; the third and final piece, the \u201cdeveloper agreement\u201d hearing, will take place on June 24.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">This final voting in favor of Santolina is what the project needs to start. The 13,000-plus-acre master planned community would stretch from Atrisco Heritage School to the Metropolitan Detention Center, and along Central and I-40.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The developer, Western Albuquerque Land Holdings, has previously announced that the project will be built with no net expense to the country.
