The new property, located at 99 Shawan Road, will help consolidate more than 900 employees currently located across several buildings in\u00a0Hunt Valley\u00a0and\u00a0Sparks.<\/p>\n<p>The target date for occupancy is mid-2018. And very importantly, the location creates a minimal impact on the commute of our employees, which was an important factor in our search.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Goya\u2019s new center will consist of a 600,000-square-foot warehouse for distribution and 42,000-square-foot corporate office space in\u00a0Jersey City\u00a0as well as a renovated 240,000-square-foot production facility in\u00a0Secaucus, totaling nearly 900,000 square feet on 58 acres of land.<\/p>\n<p>Constructed to provide a net-zero carbon footprint, the\u00a0Jersey City\u00a0facility will be 100 percent powered by a solar energy system using 12,000 panels on 11 acres of rooftop.
