Marble Development has been chosen by the Lobo Development Corp. as the developer of the project located on the southeast corner of University Blvd. and Avenida Caesar Chavez. Negotiations on the ground lease have already begun.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2015\/04\/Marble-Development.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-342741\" title=\"Marble Development\" src=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2015\/04\/Marble-Development.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"230\" \/><\/a>Marble Development was one of the five groups that submitted proposals for the site. \u201cWe\u2019ve been working on this project for a long time,\u201d said Lobo Development Chair James H. Koch. \u201cWe look forward to working with this company. Hopefully in the next 30 days or so, we will be voting on a contract.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Marble Development is a partnership between Santa Fe Dining and Marble Brewery. Santa Fe Dining will provide the food and Marble Brewery the craft beer. The initial plans on the project include a restaurant, taproom and coffee shop in a building of approximately 13,000 square feet, 15,000 square feet of covered courtyard areas, and around 30,000 square feet of open area reserved for parking and festival space.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The development will be built on approximately 1.4 acres, and construction might begin in the next few months.
