\"\"<\/a>Next month, First National Bank & Trust Co. will begin a makeover of its historic main location in downtown Broken Arrow.<\/p>\n

Tulsa World reports<\/a> that the century-old building at 121 S. Main in the city\u2019s Rose District will undergo a seven-month interior and exterior renovation, during which the bank will remain open.<\/p>\n

Opened in 1902 as the Traders and Planters Bank, the building was most recently renovated in 1992. Gregory Graham, the bank\u2019s chairman & CEO, told the World<\/a> that the project will add a 31-foot glass tower and gallery space to display artwork and historical artifacts, including vintage maps and bills and works from the Oklahoma-born painter Allan Houser.<\/p>\n

Highgate General Contractors will handle construction, while MATRIX Architects Engineers Planners Inc. is the architect of record.<\/p>\n

First National Bank & Trust Co. has four locations in Broken Arrow, at 121 S. Main, 3208 S. Elm Place, 2100 N. Aspen and 2401 E. Kenosha. The bank\u2019s mortgage center, which is located just one block away from the main branch, will move 121 S. Main after the project’s completion.<\/p>\n
