{"id":1004115403,"date":"2015-03-15T18:49:59","date_gmt":"2015-03-16T02:49:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/?p=332667"},"modified":"2020-04-28T04:49:13","modified_gmt":"2020-04-28T12:49:13","slug":"duke-realty-to-sell-huge-office-building-in-greater-cincinnati","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/duke-realty-to-sell-huge-office-building-in-greater-cincinnati\/","title":{"rendered":"Duke Realty To Sell Huge Office Building In Greater Cincinnati"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>By Adrian Maties, Associate Editor<\/em><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2015\/03\/DukeRealtyImage.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-332668\" title=\"Deerfield Crossing A and B\" src=\"https:\/\/synd.yardi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2015\/03\/DukeRealtyImage.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"165\" \/><\/a>As part of Duke Realty Corp.\u2019s years-long strategy to transform its portfolio, the Indianapolis-based company is putting one of its largest Class A office buildings in Greater Cincinnati on the market.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/cincinnati\/news\/2015\/03\/10\/exclusive-duke-realty-putting-huge-office-building.html?iana=ind_cre&amp;page=all\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><em>Cincinnati Business Courier<\/em>,<\/a>Duke has tapped Jim O\u2019Connell, Mike Sullivan and Tom Powers of DTZ\u2019s Cincinnati-based capital markets team to sell Deerfield Crossing A and B, neighboring buildings comprising 320,000 square feet of office space in Deerfield Township.<\/p>\n<p>Deerfield Crossing A, at 5181 Natorp Boulevard, and Deerfield Crossing B, at 5191 Natorp Boulevard, are connected by a six-story atrium. The property offers such amenities as a conference center, a fitness center and a self-serve cafe. Duke Realty did not reveal the asking price, but the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertyshark.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><em>PropertyShark<\/em><\/a>, a real estate website which provides in-depth data for approximately 90 million properties in major markets across the United States, lists the total market value of the property at $27.7 million. Deerfield Crossing A, at 5181 Natorp Boulevard, and Deerfield Crossing B, at 5191 Natorp Boulevard, are connected by a six-story atrium.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Duke\u2019s latest move reflects its long-term plan to reduce its exposure in the office sector and re-focus on industrial and medical office assets.\u00a0Earlier this month, the Cincinnati Business Courier also <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/cincinnati\/news\/2015\/03\/04\/exclusive-duke-realty-puts-5-cincinnati-office.html?page=all\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">reported<\/a><\/em> that the company has selected CBRE to market a five-building, 700,000-square-foot office portfolio in Blue Ash. No price was announced, but the Hamilton County Auditor&#8217;s office puts the total value of the five buildings at more than $54 million.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In February, Duke sold its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/cities\/cleveland\/duke-sells-last-six-northeast-ohio-office-buildings-for-20m-3\/1004114747.html#recent\" ><em>last six office buildings in Northeast Ohio<\/em><\/a> to Time Equities Inc., for $20 million.
