Plans call for the construction of a 22,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art complex, on the site of the old Alex Box Stadium. The Tiger Athletics Nutrition Center will include a large dining room, kitchen and lounge area. It will house full-time chefs and nutritionists, and will serve all LSU athletes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In a statement, Alleva said that the university has raised funds for the new facility from private donations. However, it has decided to delay the project because of recently proposed state budget cuts to higher education.
